We are a breeding and training
facility for Field Cocker or English Cocker Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels
and British Labradors. We offer a full service training facility that
includes use of live birds and a half-acre rabbit pen.
We try to maintain a line of gun
dogs that
have all the key elements you want in a hunting partner, a field trial
contender, and a family pet. We have very few litters of puppies a year
and only choose gun dogs that have proven themselves in the field as a
guide dog, or that have achieved outstanding results in field trial.
Our main goal is
to produce and train English
Cocker and English Springer Spaniels and English bred Labradors who will
perform at the highest levels whether hunting, guiding or in field trial
or hunt test competition. We try through breeding
to keep our hunting dogs small and
compact. We try to focus on what the average
guy or gal wants to hunt behind, a Spaniel or Lab that can be trained to hunt for
 you
without the use of electronic training collars. We will do field trials for English Cocker and English
Springer Spaniels. However we try not to put too much emphasis on certain types of field trials
if they do not correspond to our training program, as our
main focus is producing dogs for people who do not want their birds flushed out of
gun range, and who would not consider running
down the field to keep up with a
out-of-control Spaniel or Lab.
In this
breeding program we find that the type of dog that fits our training and
breeding program also makes a better house companion in the off months.
We understand the off months are much longer then the hunting season. If
a dog would not make a good house companion it will not be in our
breeding program.
All of our
gun dogs have great dispositions and want to be with you, as you would
expect from your typical Spaniel or Lab.
